Care Instructions
We recommend that all our items are washed at a gentle 30º or handwash and line dry only. Not only is this better for your clothing, it's also better for the environment. Do not tumble dry. Iron on reverse. Do not iron any lace or delicate trim. Always keep away from fire.
This is a polite reminder that handmade clothing is not suitable for sleepwear. Children should be supervised at all times when wearing items with straps and button/snaps. These are secured to the best of our ability, however over time things can become loose. So check these regularly!
When storing Maddie Dylan Design items at home please ensure straps are tied together securely and out of reach of small children.
Please bear in mind the fabrics used are generally vintage or reclaimed and so may show signs of fading or age but we believe this adds a unique character to every garment made.
Shipping
Ready made items are dispatched within 3 working days and any custom orders will be dispatched within 30 working days. All orders are shipped using a tracked service which usually takes 3-5 working days after dispatch. We cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery once it has left us. Once items have left us and we have sufficient evidence of receipt then we do not take responsibility for any lost mail. We will email any tracking information to you on confirmation of dispatch.
Returns and Refunds
All orders have a 24 hour cancellation period. Should you have made an error in ordering and wish to amend it or simply have changed your mind please contact us via email at hello@maddiedylandesigns.co.uk. Once the 24 hours from ordering has passed we will no longer be able to cancel or amend your order as we will have started to process and handcraft your purchase.
Ready Made Items
Ready made items can be refunded in full (not including postage) in their original state with tags intact, unworn and unwashed within 28 days of receipt (please notify us your intent to return within 14 days, you will then have a further 14 days for your return to reach us.) Return postage is the responsibility of the consumer unless the item is faulty (we recommend sending items recorded delivery.)
Unfortunately, any custom made items are not eligible to be refunded as these are made to order unless in the unlikely event the item is faulty.
Most fabrics used at Maddie Dylan Designs are reclaimed vintage. Although we try to inspect all fabrics before the making process, sometimes not all defects are obvious. In the unlikely event you notice any issues upon receiving your item, please notify us within 14 days. After that time you will not be entitled to a refund.
Custom Made Items
Refunds will only be awarded to custom made items for noticeable defects or faults. These items should be reported within 14 days of receiving your item. You will then be asked to return the item for inspection. Returns should be returned in their original state with tags, unworn and unwashed.
Sizing issues are not considered a valid reason for a refund. If you are needing any assistance with sizing, please refer to the size chart or contact us directly for advice before placing your order.
Please allow up to 7-10 working days for us to process your return and refund. It may also take 3-5 working days from your bank for the refund to show in your account.
